Poolside Fun at Chateau Golf and Country Club

Chateau Golf and Country Club’s swimming pool is the perfect venue for summer time fun. The pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Enjoy a wide variety of food and beverages from the Snack Bar. Our kiddie pool will entertain the youngest members of your family. Certified Life Guards are on duty during pool hours. Lifeguards and Coaches are also available for private swim lessons.

Children can participate in the Chateau Stingrays, the Club Swim Team, which will help boost swimming skills and team camaraderie. The Stingrays compete in swim meets through out the Greater New Orleans area against some the city’s most competitive swim teams. The end of the swim season is commemorated with a fun Game Day and an Awards Banquet in the Grand Ballroom.

Swim Lessons

Every summer, Chateau is happy to offer swim lessons for members and non-members.

Lessons are 30 minutes and are in packages or 6 or 12 lessons. Private, Semi-Private, and Group lessons are available as well. All lessons are through SELA Aquatics.

SELA AQUATICS “Excellence saves lives”

We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with SELA Aquatics to manage our pool this summer. SELA Aquatics is a regional aquatics company that provides American Red Cross Safety certifications such a CPR and Lifeguarding, and a comprehensive pool management service for pools in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. SELA’s staff of experienced professionals set the standard for aquatics safety and training in Louisiana. As part of the pool management service, SELA Aquatics will certify and provide on-going skills training for our lifeguards and swim instructors, as well as manage the employment of our guards, swim team coaches, and swim instructors. We are very happy to have them on board and we look forward to a great partnership!
